Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir,was established under a dream project started by Hari Uppal, an eminent dance maestro in the early fifties to promote classical dance forms. It was officially opened in 1963.

Located at Frazer road near Doordarshan Kendra in Patna, Bharatiya Nritya Kala Mandir is a prominent multi-purpose cultural complex in the city.
