सदी का सबसे लंबा चंद्रग्रहण आज

सदी का सबसे लंबा चंद्रग्रहण आज 27 जुलाई को होने वाला है जो एक अद्भुत  खगोलीय घटना है . अब तक सबसे लंबा पूर्ण चंद्रग्रहण 1700 साल पहले पड़ा था।

भारत में यह लगभग रात्रि 11 बजकर 55 मिनट से स्पर्श कर लगभग 3 बजकर 54 मिनट पर पूर्ण होगा. कुलअवधि 6 घंटा 14 मिनट रहेगी.

पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण एक घंटे 43 मिनट का होगा.

चंद्रमा जब पृथ्वी की छाया से निकल रहा होता है तो यह हल्के लाल रंग का दिखता है जिसे वैज्ञानिकों की भाषा में ब्लड मून या  रेड मून कहते हैं। इस बार चंद्रमा लाल ब्लड मून की तरह नजर आएगा।( Red moon, another name for a full moon).

गुरु पूर्णिमा के दिन चंद्रग्रहण का संयोग 18 साल के बाद बन रहा है।

मकर राशि पर पड़ने वाले इस ग्रहण का सभी राशियों पर असर दिखेगा। जिसकी वजह से हमारे जीवन में कुछ अच्छे और कुछ बुरे असर पड़ेंगे। लेकिन शास्त्रों में कुछ उपाय बताए गए हैं, जिन्हें राशि के अनुसार करके ग्रहण के ग्रहदोष से बचा सकता है।

क्या होता है चंद्रग्रहण?

जब सूर्य और चंद्रमा के बीच पृथ्वी आ जाती है तो सूर्य की पूरी रोशनी चंद्रमा पर नहीं पड़ती है. इसे चंद्रग्रहण कहते हैं.

चंद्रग्रहण के दौरान क्या करें और क्या ना करें-

– चंद्रग्रहण के समय लोगों को कोई भी शुभ काम नहीं करने चाहिए।

ग्रहण के समय देवपूजा को भी निषिद्ध बताया गया है. इसी कारण अनेक मंदिरों के कपाट ग्रहण के समय बंद कर दिए जाते हैं. ग्रहण के 12 घंटे से पूर्व ही सूतक लगने के कारण मंदिरों के पट भी बंद कर दिये जाते है. ऐसे में पूजा, उपासना या देव दर्शन करना वर्जित है.

सूतक के समय भोजन आदि ग्रहण नहीं करना चाहिए और जल का भी सेवन नहीं करना चाहिए.

Patna co-hosts 8th Theatre Olympics

As the 8th Edition of Theatre Olympics ‘The Biggest Theatre Celebration of the World’ is being held in India for the first time from February 17 – April 08, 2018,
This 51-day theatre extravaganza will see 450 shows including 65 shows by international artistes, 600 ambient performances and 250 youth forum shows across 17 cities.
Patna is also among host cities where Patnaites witness this biggest carnival of Theatre from 03 March to 16 March 2018.Premchand Rangshala is the main venue for this mega theatre event.
The festival was inaugurated on February 17 at the Red Fort by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, and conclude in Mumbai on April 8.This mega theatre carnival is being organized by National School of Drama, under the aegis of Ministry of Culture.
The theme of the 8th Theatre Olympics is “Flag of Friendship” that aims to bridge borders and bring people of different cultures, beliefs and ideologies together through the medium of theatrical art.

HISTORY

The Theatre Olympics was established in 1993 in Delphi, Greece, on the initiative of the famous Greek theatre director, Theodoros Terzopoulos.

TO is an international theatre festival, which is presenting some of the achievements of the greatest theatre practitioners from around the world. It is a platform for theatrical exchange, a gathering place for students and masters, where a dialogue despite ideological, culture and language differences is encouraged. Moreover, as its subtitle suggests, Crossing Millennia, it is an initiative that emphasizes the importance of connecting the past, present, and future together.

International Yoga Day celebrated in Patna

As the world celebrates the International Yoga Day on June 21 for the second year, Patnaites  gathered in large number  at various Yoga camps in the state capital with tremendous enthusiasm and motivation to learn the various techniques of this age old practice and its usefulness in their daily life styles for remaining fit and healthy.

Gandhi Maidan and Buddha Smriti Park were among the major venues where yoga camps were organized by Patanjali Arogya Kendra and Art of Living respectively.

The idea of an International Day of Yoga was first proposed by Narendra Modi during his speech at the UNGA, on September 27, 2014.

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his UN Address suggested the date of June 21, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares special significance in many parts of the world.

World Music Day coincides with the International Day of Yoga.

Patna Book Fair is in full swing as book lovers swarm all the stalls looking for books of their interests and choices. This 23rd edition of Patna Book Fair, was inaugurated by Sri Nitish Kumar,chief minister of Bihar at historical Gandhi Maidan on 4th February and the theme for this edition of book fair is ‘Kushal Yuva-Safal Bihar.

Patna Book Fair is organised annually by CRD (Centre for Readership Development).Though, this 23rd edition of Patna Book Fair was originally planned to be held from 11 to 22 November, 2016,the book fair had to be rescheduled to 4-14 February 2017 due to 350th Prakash Parv.

Besides, book stalls from 250 publications, various programmes like debate,quiz contest,nukkad natak[street-play], painting competition are being organised for youth and children.

Book releases from noted authors and personalities also mark the Patna Book Fair.

Jan Samvaad and Coffee House are interactive session graced by eminent writers and personalities from literary background.

A live 144 square feet painting depicting the ‘seven resolves’ of Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar is being jointly prepared by NIFT students and traditional artistes under ‘Made in India’ programme.

The whole city is brightened up with magnificent arrangements. Devotees from round the world are reaching Patna to participate in the celebration of 350th  Prakash Utsav.350th birth anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

Devotional songs and kirtan is being performed throughout the day mesmerize the devotees at the tent city Gandhi Maidan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and a large number of Sikh dignitaries from India and abroad will participate in the special prayers and ‘kirtan’ on January 5.

The city is gripped by festive mood as Mahaparva of Chhath begins from today with ‘Nahay -Khay’ holy bath and food.

The city is gearing up for the biggest festival of Chhath as all the preparations for Chhath puja are in full swing.
Chhath Puja is the biggest festival for the people of Bihar living within Bihar or across the country or world and often referred to as “Mahaparva”.

All the elaborate arrangements and managements are being executed by administration on war footing level. Whether it is cleanliness of Ghats, ponds and all other places or the safety matters , administration is  leaving no stone  unturned  to make it a successful event.

Chhath puja is performed on Kartika Shukla Shashthi, which is the sixth day of the month of Kartika in the Vikram Samvat.

Four-day Chhath festival, dedicated to the worship of Lord Surya’s benevolence is being held from November 4 to 7 this year.

Vaishali Mahotsava-2016 started on Tuesday evening 20 April, 2016.The three-day Mahotsava was inaugurated by state minister of tourism Anita Devi near Abhishekh-Puskarni.
